Coppicing

Coppicing in Area 20, which is to the left of the Easy Access Trail as it leaves the main drive (in front of the Information and Education Centre), has now finished.

However, as timber clearance and other work in that area continues, visitors are asked to take notice of warning signs, diversions and safety barriers and to keep dogs and children clear of the working area.

If you would like to know more about coppicing, the reasons for it and the benefits to the flora and fauna, please click here.
